Remember how sticky they are, get in plenty of wet wipes!

Have a look at THIS BBC report from Ausatralia where they are anticipating the eradication of cervical cancer because they adopted universal vaccination of all children against the HPV virus. Sounds like a no-brainer to me......

Next week's flu jab cancelled by the health centre due to a shortage of vaccine. Try to book again after the 12th Oct: This may explain why some people are experiencing delays in their notifications. Must have a word with Amazon to get their at together.

Not wet wipes, they are indestructible and are helping to wreck the planet, not that we need any more help in that matter! Dip them in the beck instead.

Good news from Australia Stanley, a no-brainer indeed. :good:

When I went for my jab I have never seen the docs as busy, three clinics on the go at once.

Did you see on TV where they filmed volunteers in London picking up and counting wet wipes on the Thames foreshore? It's now covered with a thick layer of wet wipes coated in brown mud.

I received a call at 3.30pm from the Neurosurgery theatre nurse at LGI regarding a cancellation slot for tomorrow. I have to present myself at 07-15 to 07.30 tomorrow at LGI Brotherton Wing, I accepted of course. I had to ring the nurse back to check about my medication which I was supposed to take for 3 days prior to surgery. The deal is that I take the first steroid dose tonight with food (last I will have) and then the rest will be given via IV once I am on the surgical ward.
I have a nice Lamb curry in the slow cooker and all the trimmings to go with it, that will have to go on hold for something a lot less savoury, small price to pay to be put right. :biggrin2: :good:

Wow Ian that's sudden! At least you don't have too much time to worry. All the best, we will be thinking about both you and Sally.

Indeed, took me by surprise but I have calmed down now. A bit to do tonight to get sorted, taken my meds as instructed and will be trying to get an early night. Our Jack will take us on his way to work as he is based over that way. Carla has got the afternoon off work and will see to collecting Sally.

I didn't have much chance to look at OG yesterday so I'm too late to catch Ian before the op but we'll be thinking of him.

There are pictures on Facebook of Ian sat up in bed, grinning like a Cheshire cat, eating ice cream.

That really is good news. Speedy recovery, Ian.
So they still give you ice cream in hospital? It was rumoured they did that in the fifties if you had your tonsils out.
