Hi,

I've just joined this site. Although currently living in Seaton, Devon, I lived in Barnoldswick from 1954-1970. I left to go to college & join the Merchant Navy as a Radio Officer, travelling the world! I came ashore shortly after Daughter 1 was born, joining what was then The Post Office, later BT, taking redundancy at age 40, having reached position of International Relations Manager (E&S Africa). Since then, I've spent a number of years working in Sports Development in London & the Home Counties before moving here over a year ago. I'm checking who I knew in those days are still around & remember me (pleasantly, of course!!)
