Just been for a drink with the neighbour. Not sure I can be bothered cooking dinner now. What a shame, as I spent ages crumbing fresh fish before neighbour knocked on the door and I was all ready to get the chef’s hat on!
Might wait a while and see if the appetite returns...it may end up being a fish sandwich before bed, instead of the dinner I had planned. ( I seem to be constantly changing tac with meals lately) :biggrin2:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Let's hope it's better than the last one, at least as far as viruses are concerned!

And lots of thanks are due to all those medics and other people who have been working under great pressure to keep both the medical services and the economy as effective as possible. We have a hospital doctor living nearby and I saw him this morning starting out to work on foot, as usual carrying his briefcase and smartly dressed - but for once wearing a woolly bobble hat! The sky is overcast, the temperature zero degrees C, the roads and pavements icy, nobody else is about but he's still going in on New Year's Day. :good:
