Just when you start to get the feeling that good guitar playing is alll about fingures flying about like little pink maggots (up the "dusty end") along comes something like this......

I'm watching you lot develop your You-tube skills and learning. Thanks for doing the pioneering! My favourite guitar music has always been Segovia playing Concierto Aranjuez (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptvchIjT4aY). The only reason for this was that I was given a bunch of 8 track Lear Jet cassettes when they became obsolete and I had a player in the house and the cab of the wagon. I#m sure you remember that if you left them alone they played on a loop until you ejected the cartridge so I tended to listen to one piece over and over again. I keep thinking I should go on the net and look for free classzical music, I can't afford CDs... Any suggestions?

As you can see, I've been taking notes! Another posting skill. Thanks.

Catty, thanks for that helpful suggestion but a bit of a shock for a young lad early in the morning. What struck me was their deadpan look.

panbiker, i am happy with determining the start point , ie,v=,start, but how does one determine the end point ?. bodge

The end of the string seems to have CAP lc CAP as in: RcQ

Of the H6nLviIaRcQ

If you don't get it right and have too much in the string you can always edit and chop a bit of until you get the hang of the chunk you need.

What listeners often don't realise is that the cornet/trumpet/clarinet parts being played are EXACTLY what rock (and mainly blues) lead guitarists are playing today......
The scales are the same , they bend the notes, just the same , and use the same phrasing......
