To stop birds nesting under eaves and on ledges of buildings.
We tried to buy the plastic equivalent, and they were so ridiculously expensive we decided against it. We just sweep the nests out as quick as they build them...

It's a set of pyramid rolls in the maritime museum in Rotterdam. An interesting place to wander around. Rotterdam was more than expected, a nice surprise.

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
That's what I thought they were, I've worked with bending rolls on up to 3/4" plate at REW. That set was a fairly light one. Are we considering this one done and dusted?

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
True, I would probably have to run to keep up with it's walking pace. I have precious memories of a farm in Nidderdale still using horses when we kept our caravan there in the late 1950s.
Do you remember the TV series "The Last Horsemen " about the family in the Northeast who were still using horses to run their farm? I get all weepy just thinking about it.

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
We have them here. They pull the tram out to Granite Island...
Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
Was in Douglas for my b'day last year.
Had several rides on the Horse Tram along the prom.
The "Trammers" are either Clydesdales or Shires and pull the trams at a spanking trot.
Have a couple of photos somewhere ... "just a minute", I'll have a look ...
