No, but you're getting warmer, at least as far as the person's identity is confirmed. Still a long way to go but I won't give clues yet. I also want to know what the object is, not just what it represents.

I'm going for Good King Wenceslas and the space on the plinth behind him is for his page. Made of wood and a seasonal decoration.

Ha ha I was tempted a couple of times to jump on and say something similar.
It won’t be long now before we are all told ‘Your all no-where near it, blah blah blah, but here’s a well needed clue...’ Please

It is a matter of global responsibility....we must have an answer...

Where's a small earthquake when you need one?

I got the magnifying glass out and decided it was The Invisible Man with Father Christmas. I thought that was so ridiculous I didn't post it.

OK kids, Mrs Tiz has told me to stop reading the latest election news on the BBC site and pay attention to your pleas.
Cathy was the first to suggest `an old historical king' and she was bang on target with that! But he's none of those so far suggested. I'll narrow it down to a British king - but he's not a statue, so what is he?

Here's a clue - he's just had a brief holiday in Greenwich.

No, but to avoid a series of posts on Williams I'll tell you that it's William IV. The question now is, what is the object?
