Leave Hitler to me Lad

Went to see this last night at the Rainhall Centre, presented by the Duckegg Theatre Company. Four adults and three children relating the story of homes set up during the war to care for displaced children. The story was told during two periods 1952, seven years after the Second World war with three children dreaming of their parents, or indeed anyone coming to collect them and the same school 20 years later in 1972. All the actors portrayed multiple parts and for a small performance area was exceptionally well presented. Another slant on the human cost of war and one that many would not even think of. Well done Duckegg!
