Post by Meadow » 30 Nov 2016, 22:52

Hello

I'm new to here, but just wondered if anyone could tell me where the name Rostle Top Road came from? and anything else about the area around it

Thanks

That's an interesting one and if it doesn't have a connection to 'throstle', the dialect name for a thrush I don't know the answer.... I suspect this one is over to Wendy!

I don't know the answer to that, but I'll try and find out.
