Earby Holidays of Yesteryear

Earby & District Local History Society will be launching Stephanie Carter's latest book "Wish You Were Here - Earby Holidays of Yesteryear" at an event on Saturday 30th September in New Road Community Centre. Stephanie will be signing copies and with every book sold there is a chance to win a £100 Cottages.Com voucher redeemable against one of their holidays.
Lunches will be available on a picnic theme and Yorkshire Dales ice Cream on sale!!

That would be such fun!
But, sadly we are on a sea ferry that day...van and all. ( not particularly looking forward to it). Would rather be at your 'do'.

We had a successful book launch selling 48 books! I'll pop round with your copy one morning this week Stanley, Tuesday probably if that's OK with you.

Wendy delivered mine yesterday and I had an hour with it. It's Steph's best one yet. Well written, packed with research and I am learning a lot from it. Very well printed, pics are excellent reproduction. Definitely one for the shelf!
PS. Wendy is in fine condition...... I love her expensive hair do.....
