The history of Earby Brass Band

Post by Wendyf »

Stephanie Carter has produced another excellent book for the Earby & District Local History Society, this time about the Earby Brass Band who at one time competed and won prizes in competitions all over the country.
To launch the book we are holding an event on Sunday 7th October at the New Road Community Centre in Earby. We will have an exhibition of memorabilia and photographs open from 1pm, the book launch itself at 2pm and the band will be giving a performance at 3pm.
The book will be for sale at the event and afterwards for £10 a copy.
