Titles of page tabs - can we have topic titles back?

Pluggy, in recent months there was a change to the way titles were displayed on the OGFB page tabs in my Firefox browser. In the past if I was in, say, "Politics Corner" then the tab said `Politics Corner'. If I had several topics open in tabs at the same time I could see which was which. Now I can't so easily distinguish between them because they all begin with "OneGuyFromBarlick" and possibly only the first word of the topic title. I assume it's the same for other Firefox users. Can it be changed back to the old display? Thanks!

We are having a Moderators and Admins meeting early in June to discuss various aspects of the site. The recent crash will be high on the list for discussion along with other issues. I will add your comment to my list of stuff I am compiling Tiz.

I used to go via this bookmark to view OG as a guest then login if I wanted to post. Now the URL just gives something like "You don't have authority to use this page". Not very important...but I'm just curious about why it changed!

As far as I am aware and Pluggy will probably be able to enlighten a bit more, bits of the code that runs the website have been trashed during the recent crash. This has had a knock on effect on various areas of functionality on the site. I no longer have a link into the forum management pages so can't make new categories, forums or sub-forums. The tabs are another area that have been affected along with little wobblies when logging on. Effectively the site is a little bit broken hence the meeting to discuss strategy and the best way forward. Tea and plenty of biscuits are in the offing for when we meet.

Mrs Tiz rarely posts on OG but she usually reads topics every day, but now she's talking about giving up because it's become difficult to find the topics she wants. Her view is that OG will be losing viewers, if not members, for that reason.

As has been mentioned, I've asked for a physical meeting with the rest of the team which is this coming Thursday evening. The broken state of OGFB will be high on the agenda and other topics of importance. Changes will no doubt be coming.

Tiz, please tell Mrs Tiz that we are aware of the problems and have been working out a way to get the site functioning properly again. We're having a meeting on Thursday to dot the Is and cross the Ts so hang in there!
