QUOTE OF THE DAY. TRIPPS ORIGINAL
Re: QUOTE OF THE DAY. TRIPPS ORIGINAL
I didn't hear the full quote but someone on the radio this morning said signing Article 50 would be `like jumping out of an aeroplane with a parachute made by someone who wanted to deter others from taking such a risk'.

Re: QUOTE OF THE DAY. TRIPPS ORIGINAL
On the BH programme this morning discussing the recent scandals at Tesco and VW etc one of the participants summed it up well:
`catastrophic management failure by people on atmospheric salaries'.

Tag line from ( Professor Robert Bliss ) Uncle Bob's emails.
It has always seemed strange to me that in our endless discussions about education so little stress is laid on the pleasure of becoming an educated person, the enormous interest it adds to life --- Edith Hamilton, Classicist (1867-1963).

From a Tesco press advert - rapidly withdrawn.
"Great offers on beer and cider - Good Friday just got better"
Outstanding contender for 'crass strap line of the year'. Described as 'religious illiteracy, and it's hard to disagree. Sign of the times?

She meets the DUP today to do a deal, is the leader an MP, I dont think she is. That aside it is breaking a trust agreement (as official mediator) with the rest of the political factions in the peace brokering negotiations. Sinn Fein is not happy with the arrangement and rightly so, par for the course with the Tories, anything to stay in power.
