Morning Comrade, I like him, a very attractive character and as you say, class acting.

Radio 4 actually. I have just listened to the first episode of 'The Hitch Hiker's Guide, Hexagonal Phase' It's quite splendid, they have done well. If you enjoyed the original, go to the iPlayer and find the new one. I don't think you'll be disappointed. One notable voice is Stephen Hawking as the Guide Mark II.

I watched the episode of Endeavour from a couple of weeks ago, Russian spies and assassinations all over the place. A very watchable series so far. Will catch up on last Sunday's series finale one evening this week. Shaun Evans is very well cast as a young Morse :good:

I enjoyed the last episode of the current Shetland story last night. Douglas Henshall and the rest of the cast were superb and it has been a really good story with a twist right at the end. If I heard right there is to be another story next year, good!!

Just realised with the start of the F1 season that C4 HD is no longer available on Freesat. Not a biggie but still a retrograde step.

I like watching Have I Got News For You but was annoyed by Jeremy Paxman who presented the first of the 55th season. Apart from his overbearing and patronising manner (and the teams did mention that!) he spent most of the show shouting at the panellists. I was so annoyed but I keep forgetting to whinge about it!

Not only 4HD, the 'All4' on demand content has also gone too.

I can get that via the apps on the TV set Kev. They are all moving towards getting rid of freebies.

Have you checked for firmware updates Stanley? Usually hiding in the settings menu.

Also is your receiver still connected to the internet?

I did a reboot to factory settings last night and that has cured it except it wants connecting to the router again, I'll do that sometime today.

I need some help! I couldn't find out how to reconnect to the router after rebooting the box to factory settings. It looks as though I have on demand available now but it tells me the box isn't talking to the router. The connection is OK because the TV gets internet via the Humax box and that's working. I seem to remember I had to give it the router's password but can't find how to do it. I need a bigger brain than mine! Any offers?

Well I'm confused a bit with your terminology here Stanley, too many boxes!

What are you trying to connect to the router?

On the one hand you say that it is OK because the TV gets internet via the router so what is the problem?

Your Humax Satellite receiver should be connected to your internet router.

Your router is just a static switch with CAT 5 ports so that should just be a single CAT5 cable.

The Humax will then be connected via a HDMI cable to your TV display. That should be all you need.

The only bit of the router that would require a password would be the WiFi interface and you should not need that for on demand.
