Wonderful achievement so far. They could well be in there now after the others. I wish them luck.....

It's just been announced that they are bringing the four remaining boys and the coach out together.
The 19 divers went in two hours ago and they expect the rescue to take less than 9 hours.

It's a bit like the midwife holding up the lamp during a multiple birth, and the poor shaking husband saying "do you think it's the light attracting them Nurse?!"

Wonderful news..... Only thing that bugs me is the way the UK media keep saying the rescue was led by 'British divers'. Whether it's true or not, totally the wrong time to be waving the flag. The Thai organisation was what made it possible, why not praise them?

The computer shop has moved into the larger premises next door vacated by the Linen Shop.
Next have delivered a large free catalogue to the empty boutique on Church Street..... They just left in the doorway. Not very productive!

Unfortunately not as uncommon as you would think. Dan's car insurance company demanded continued monthly payments on his policy despite being told that he had been killed in a RTA and the car was written off. This was even after we had sent them a copy of his death certificate. Mobile phone company tried the same. I told them once then ignored and challenged them to take me to court, they finally left us alone but very upsetting at the time.

We had similar problems on deaths of parents. We need a Government-backed `hit squad' to go after companies who are doing this sort of thing. It's costs would be balanced by the savings on lost productivity and mental health problems.

On our way back from the funeral we listened to callers to the Jeremy Vine show, (presented by Michael Howard for the rest of the week) regarding Trumps visit. There was some kind of Scottish religious zealot on in full rant mode saying that he, (Trump) was taking a hit for the world as he was in the grip of a Satanic attack which he is fighting for the good of humanity. Made for interesting listening although I did feel the need to shout at the radio. :furious3: :extrawink:

If it's the guy I think it is - and it probably is - he is a regular caller to LBC. I've heard him a few times. I sometimes think they have a few of this type on speed dial for when callers are scarce.

This was a woman Tripps, could not believe the diatribe, they did have New Yorker on at the same time to give some balance, his basic viewpoint was that Trump should resign now and let a sane person become President.
