A body scrubber that is used in the shower or bath, or something that was used for your recent pedicure Stanley, maybe to remove dry skin.

Another one bites the dust. Wendy is right and China knew it as well. It's a new mantle for a Tilley Lamp (or any other place a mantle is needed.) They are a soft fabric when you buy them but are impregnated with a fireproof compound and when you install them and light them a minor miracle occurs and they flare up and transform into the fireproof incandescent mantle you were after.

I don't know what size it is but I guess it would be useful if you wanted to dismantle a brick wall! Knock it into the mortar gaps and lever it back and forth to separate the bricks.

It is so heavily made that it looks like it has a specific purpose, not just using it as a general purpose chisel. Something to do with railway tracks? Knocking out the spring clips that hold the line to the sleeper? I'm making this up as I go along...

You're all getting there, too heavy and blunt for use as a chisel. So what can it be?

The iron part looks like a toe tread. Do you put the wooden shaft into a pre-drilled hole and use this as step, for example in drainage inspection chambers?

Sorry China but no. Stick with the concept of a blunt chisel. Where would that come in handy?
