Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Kathy gave me the bad news that there were no steak puddings because they hadn't got round to making any after their holiday. However, when Carl delivered my order there were three free misshapen steak puddings from the freezer so I had a surfeit! Breakfast and tea was steak pudding and mutton stew with added veggies.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Yesterday I had bacon and egg for breakfast and then cooked veggies later so tea was the last steak pudding and veggies. Now I have the two pork pies to go at!

Bacon and two eggs for breakfast. Veggies and a small pork pie for tea. Some nuts as well to go with my chocolate and apple, haven't had any for a while.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
German camping potatoes with onions and ham with extra Spam, baked beans and peas added. I have a bit left for my lunch today, will add some chopped tomatoes I reckon.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
My term and I thought someone would ask. Pre-cooked and supplied in hermetically sealed silver bags portioned for 2 people. Basically sliced potatoes which you can get with just onions or this variant that has ham as well. Relatively cheap and available from Home Bargains and other stores that source continental cuisine. Photo is a bit out of focus but here they are:

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Well, you know I'm a nosey bugger! Thanks for that Ian.
Sausage and veggies for breakfast and for tea, for a change I had a small thin BBQ chicken pizza which I reinforced with two sliced sausages and some tomato ketchup.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Sausage and veggies X two for breakfast and tea. Keeps time spent cooking down to a minimum and very nourishing!

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Pork filling from a large pork pie from the Co-op on offer as it had reached it's sell by date with veggies. (I gave the crust to the birds, there was a lot of it!) Tea was the last of the veggies, mushy peas and a deep fried cod fillet.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
I baked the other day and made two loaves, one as a bloomer and the other half of the dough in a 1lb bread tin. I froze the bloomer and kept the tin loaf back for consumption, (it fits in the toaster better). I had a small portion of diced lamb yesterday so I shoved it in the slow cooker. Took some out after lunch and constructed a Kleftico as we had all the required ingredients about. I have cracked this recipe for a small blue pot bellied container that holds a single portion. It turned out as gorgeous loveliness, I had it with a thick chunk of my hand baked bread for mopping up purposes. Accompanied by a glass of Australian Red Tail. We had a pudding of pear frangipan and cream to follow.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
I am nowhere near is inventive Ian! I slow cooked mutton chops and peas to reinforce the veggies and grilled sausage as well.
Breakfast was sausage and eggs. Tea was a steak pudding with veggies reinforced by gravy from the mutton. (Plenty of Lea and Perrins in the mutton....)

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
We got some chicken breasts yesterday and some peppers so I made chicken fajitas for my tea. Quick easy and very tasty. I whizzed up a vine tomato, half the onion from the fajita mix and some chilli flakes to make a salsa. I had two wraps and have a small portion left for lunch today. I will shove that in a pitta bread.
I reckon it will be chicken and pasta for tea. That normally gives me a spare portion to freeze. I will freeze the rest of the breasts.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
I had exactly the same yesterday as the day before. Two helpings left. Must cook less veggies so I can ring the changes a bit.

I was attracted to Sue's sandwich at Ingleton, a big ham and salad butty. It's got me thinking!

Steak pudding, chips, peas and gravy last night, something with smoked bacon tonight.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Medium rare sirloin, onion rings, grilled tomato, portabella mushroom, mangetout and green beans washed down with 2 pints of Wainwrights. First time in the Hare and Hounds since March, it was very nice.

I'm going to make sourdough pizza dough and embellish according to taste. Just need to get some mozzarella.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Last egg and some bacon for breakfast. Fish chips and peas for tea. Treat was a lump of one of the Artisan Baker's malt loaves, they are superb, much better than Soreen.
