Spooky ! - so did I. In fact it has become a regular menu item over the last couple of years, with my trusty Wok, a dash of Linghams Chilli sauce, some finely chopped root ginger. and soya sauce. You can get quite adventurous, and I haven't had any failures yet. Sometimes I add a shake of curry powder and some cardamon pods. I've used chopped cooked sausage, and even bacon as the meat element, and a handful of shredded cabbage and cooked (noodles) spaghetti does no harm.
Same for me David, I often use sausages and bacon in the Wok. Frozen mixed veg works well and sliced frozen peppers, we normally have both in the freezer but were short of pepper yesterday, frozen or au natural. We have double Woks in our house one for my meaty adventures and a veggie one for Sally she often uses the cubed soya stuff which tastes like cardboard to me but hey ho each to their own. Shove enough spices in and it can come out quite decent.
I was extremely boring as usual. Rib steak and veggies X two for breakfast and tea.
Did my veggie shopping.... I got some pickled herring but it's in a larger pot and is now a fiver. It will be cheaper actually because I can split it in two and so it will be £2.50 per helping rather than £3.50 for the Silver Tide herring. That's right, Pork Pie and herring is on my mind.

I cooked the spiced Spanish sausage in the oven while I sweated off a chopped onion in the frying pan and bubbled up some fussili. Onion cooked I brought it all together with the sliced sausage. I took a portion and popped it back in the oven with a bit of cheese on top. Very tasty, Nathan's Spanish sausage I think are sun dried tomato and chilli. I have kept a portion back for my lunch and put two in the freezer for later retrieval.
Breakfast yesterday was two eggs, a blood pudding and baked beans. I cooked a rib steak yesterday and had part of it and its lovely gravy with veggies for tea last night.

Picking up some part baked sourdough baguettes from Aldi for a sausage sandwich for lunch. It would have been P's dad's birthday today and we have to have the smell of fresh bread in the house (he was a baker).
Not sure on tea yet, still looking for inspiration.
Yesterday was Pork Pie, herring and Greek goodies twice, the only difference at teatime was no olives but cabbage and peas as I have been cooking during the day for the rest of the week.
