I shall be in the shed chasing the Shand Mason steam pump. Not sure about walk or bookie watch, we'll have to see if the forecast is right about the rain....according to them we have heavy rain but it's still dry out there....
Exactly Stanley. The ground here is covered in brown leaves, trees are bare in places but no nice autumn colours. Its too late for the trees to produce new leaves, though we saw some yesterday that had. However there is little fruit to be picked from trees. Only blackberries have done well . It was a good day yesterday, about 25 degrees and apart from the first hour when it rained it was sunny and dry. We had a very good day out.
Today will be an extended big breakfast and we all leave the house at 12, Barbara and Bill to the ferry and we are taking Wendy and Keith to the airport. I shall make them a sandwich as the airport is not well known for its food and the plane also has a reputation of being two hours late! Then its back here for us to start the washing of towels and bedding. I may get some done before we leave at noon.
Its due to be sunny and 30 degrees today, the best weather for a fortnight irrespective of the temperature. Have a good day all
