Chicken mince and veggies X three for breakfast dinner and tea. Had cheese and biscuits for a treat after tea and was annoyed to find I had bought 'light' mature cheddar. Not quite the same depth of flavour.....

I had chicken and veggies X three for breakfast dinner and tea. The lamb shanks were roasted, the gravy went in with the veggies and after they were deboned I augmented my chicken and veggies with a nibble of lamb.....
Very nice fresh taste......

I cooked a Bolognese based pasta bake for visiting southern friends yesterday, it went down well. Tonight we're off to The Barlick Raj, for the Sunday buffet, with 'local' friends this time.

We're booked in at Fabellos in Foulridge on Wednesday next week :good:
Good news is that Fabellos are now opening during the day for breakfast, coffee, cake and other nibbles. 'The Wharf' is no more it's all Italian.

An interesting tea tonight. What in the fridge goes together as we are running things down before we go away. A lovely chicken casserole with left over red pepper, chorizo, carrots, spring onions, tomatoes and left over roast chicken. We had it with rice, it was yummy

Yesterday I started the day with the last of the last batch of cooking for breakfast. I didn't really have anything for dinner, just a nobble of the veggies I was cooking. For tea I had freshly cooked veggies with savoury mince(Which I cooked the day before....). Another week has started!
