We don't pay anything for our water Stanley, not sure who we could turn to if the spring stopped. It seems to be holding steady just now with the flow rate about three quarters down on normal.
Off to Mum's today, then expecting son to arrive for his birthday meal. (He always asks for lasagna...)

Happy Birthday to your lad, Wendy.
( mine likes Lasagna too, but my Chicken Schnitzel with Roast Spuds, Roast Carrots, broccoli, Cauliflower, Gravy AND pan fried Mushrooms is his absolute favourite. With Garlic Bread just for him, of course). He won't eat peas. We have had that meal once a week since he has been back living with us and although we all enjoy it, I now groan every time he asks for it, as it is quite a bit of work, and I always use the dishwasher those nights. His second love is home-made pizza. Having that tomorrow night, and have bought the hottest Salami I could find for his. We opt for much milder flavours without Garlic, of course. We have really noticed the difference between the size of the meals we can manage and the bigger ones he can. We eat off small plates and he has a huge one. Part of getting older...we need less food. He always looks for 'afters' but we don't do 'afters' any more...

I would be getting some water tanks.
I think Col is a smart man to put the pipes the way he did so the suspected biggest user runs out first. Good thinking.

It's all here in Oklahoma

Today I'll be staying indoors and enjoying the A/C as it's almost 100F out there.

I was supposed to be taking Oscar to the vets for his shots but I think that someone has tipped him off and he's gone into hiding.

Could be a shortage of sun, Wendy asked me to do the raindance so I did and shaved my head at the same time. Sorry, it can't be reversed.

Today I have to make a P.E bag for my grandaughter ready for when she starts school in September. I have to do it before we go to France for August. It is a special request bag. Purple with her name on and an embroidered butterfly. New sewing machine here I come! Then I have to prepare a sewing demo on doing quilted pictures for my craft group on Friday. It will be all go this week. Then hopefully later in the week the builders will have finished at Dads house and I will go and clean up before the new carpets are laid. The house looks good so fingers crossed for a sale this time.

Watching it rain, and rain and rain.
A pretty big thunderstorm around 10.00pm last night and the rain hasn't stopped since.

Welcome bliss..............................

If it eases up we may go out for lunch.

Could be the same as yesterday, doing very little but read. I think my head has cooled down after the LTP, my dreams last night were far more gentle.... Amazing what my brain gets up to every night, am I just remembering them better? Or is it a product of old age and a full head...

Meeting up with Sue and her friend Wendy for lunch at Towneley Park. Looking forward to seeing them, it seems ages since we had our last art class with Belle.

Lovely afternoon Wendy and a lot drier than Rochdale was. Wendy and I thought we could do a painting afternoon in the park there. We could then have lunch at the cafe. To be arranged in the future perhaps.

Yes, it was really good to see you both again. Torrential rain here this evening, I got trapped in the poly tunnel where the sound of the rain was deafening....I thought I wasn't going to be able to get back to the house for tea!

Taking Oscar to the vets for his shots.

I'll be watching it rain for the rest of the day by the look of it.
And I'm certainly not complaining. :-)

I'll try and make it tomorrow Wendy, would like to have a look. We will get two of the grandchildren later for sleep over until Monday. Youngest has Chicken Pox (over the worst and non contagious but very spotty). If I can get down I will probably come on my own, Finlay would probably clear the Community Centre

Hope you can make it Ian. We have a colouring table set up to entertain the little ones, but if you want to concentrate on the exhibition it might be best to come unencumbered!

That's a shame Mick, but once the exhibition is over we will be putting the material up on the EDLHS website so you will be able to see it there .
