Electrically heated head warmer.
Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
Its a 12 volt heated Yorkshire Pudding takeaway bag.
Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
Well done David. I thought this one would keep you guessing for ages. Yes, it is an electric hair heater, my wife calls it her electric cap. It is used to warm her hair after applying hair colouring. Sorry Plaques, I like your idea better but we don't have Yorkshire puddings here. This one is 240 volts. Knowing how dangerous electrical things are and the low build quality in China, would you put this on a wet head and be brave enough to plug it in? I call it her suicide hat.David Whipp wrote:Electrically heated head warmer.

Love the pic!
Stanley, I think that's a good example of an early Polynesian microwavable container.

Butter warmer; heated water flows through external piping to warm butter inside container.

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
It looks similar to the leather belt you get on a treadle sewing machine.

Rubber coated leather throng for making into whips. Used by administrators of OG for whipping Whip's who get too far out of line with their lateral thinking.

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
Prior to modern materials being invented natural rubber tubing (solid or hollow) was used for seals round vats etc, They could be applied to leather manufacture or any other process were water and aggressive chemicals were used. Still only a guess though.

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS
Wendy got it exactly right and you all ignored her wisdom! Its round leather driving belt used for small foot treadled lathes and overhead gears as well as sewing machines. The wonder of it is that there is 100ft on this spool, never seen a cow 100ft long......
