I know the voices in my head aren't real..... but sometimes their ideas are just absolutely awesome!

Re: PUZZLES - CRYPTIC CLUES
My favourite cryptic clues:
1. gegs (9,4)
2. H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O (5)
They are toughies and groaners at the same time.

Re: PUZZLES - CRYPTIC CLUES AND ANSWERS
Gearce, have you thought about maybe using the spoiler text function to hide the answers?
That way you would not need to post questions and answers again. Example as below:
This is the question
The spoiler code is inserted with the plain white box icon on the bottom row of the editor tools.

MIND GAME
2% or 98%
This is strange...
Are you the 2% or 98% of the population?
Follow the instructions!
Do the following exercise, guaranteed to raise an eyebrow.
There's no trick, just a surprise.
Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a time and as quickly as you can!
Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until you've done each of them ... really.
Think of a number from 1 to 10
Multiply that number by 9
If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together
Now subtract 5
Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with
(example: 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, 4=D, etc.)
Think of a country that starts with that letter
Remember the last letter of the name of that country
Think of the name of an animal that starts with that last letter
Remember the last letter in the name of that animal
Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter
2% or 98%

A dog in Finland eating a Guava... am I normal ?
I know I'm in my own little world, but it's OK... they know me here.
Re: PUZZLES - CRYPTIC CLUES AND ANSWERS
I am willing to admit I had what China expected...but was so horrified...I didn't dare own up.
How "common" am I?

No, you've done the maths wrong! Finland doesn't start with D...Cathy wrote:A dog in Finland eating a Guava... am I normal ?
You can't have 'a fruit' - just the fruits name!Stanley wrote:No, a Koala in Denmark eating a raspberry.....

These were sent to me as a sadistic present which I quickly placed in a safe place. I'm now asking OG followers to share the pain.
