Febby strikes again?!
 we are headed home now and can't cause anyone any more bother...
Adelaide residents can sleep soundly in their beds. Febby has "left the building".

Poor Dave..... He seems to act as a lightning rod for the Gremlins. Give him my best and tell him he has my sympathy. As for the Guinness, sounds like a faulty tin, don't trust the others, demand a refund and compensation!

All went well yesterday. Susan and I had a good natter and here she is opening Jack's Xmas present from Ann who used to live opposite us. All the dogs had a share.....

I tried to take pics of son's Labrador when she got her Christmas present of a metre of knotted ship's rope with five rawhide "doughnuts" attached...but she was in such a frenzy that the photos were blurred by her tail going mad.

We had a scream of a Christmas...so many laughs...enjoyed every moment ( though you would never believe what an exploding can of Guinness can do to a 4x4 metre room. I have washed my suitcase today but it still feels sticky.)

Never mind Maz, it was the best Xmas story I have seen for years! Put Dave in a straight jacket for the rest of the day......

The world, particularly Scotland, is gearing up for the New Year. I suppose Jack and I will have to put up with being woken at midnight by the revellers letting of their bangers.....

You won't be the only ones Stanley. It's always quiet here at Christmas but come New Year the celebrations go on and on. The last few nights I have had the screams, whoops, laughing and general yahoo-ing noise of teenagers having a great time in their back-yard swimming pool.
I know I'm in my own little world, but it's OK... they know me here. :)

That brings back memories Kathy, skinny dipping in a pool overlooking the San Bernadino Valley in LA with the New Year fireworks display at Universal City lighting up the sky..... Not a bad way to let the New Year in....

Right back at you Panbiker.
5 minutes to go!
( reality check...kids are out celebrating...we are at home looking after son's dog that may or may not be terrified by fireworks...there is only crap on TV...we've had a couple of drinks but haven't overdone it...and no doubt we will just get to sleep and the kids will arrive home and can't find the key hole...dog will go nuts...we will have to get up to let them in...total shamozzle)
