Are you sure...hmmmm.
02022020
I thought it had to have ONE central number, but I shall eagerly stand corrected...for example 4321234.
( I whimper as I say that...I am bound to be wrong...and will likely cop the wrath of many. Please spare me. I am but a peasant!)

So be it. We need a verdict.. :laugh5:
I cannot live with “ifs and buts”. ( I have slight OCD tendencies and need clarification)

Dictionary definition says it just has to read the same in both directions...

I agree with Kev. The number 1111 is a palindrome. (four digits) otherwise in your system there could only be an odd number of digits in the sequence to make a palindrome.

Wonderful link Tiz. The power of the before and after pic in monochrome. No distractions, just straight comparison.
I've sent the link to Daniel.

Daniel says he knows the work and sends John a Xmas card every year. He gets one back and it is always a hand print of one of his pics so he has quite a collection now!
You're right about B&W pics. No colour to distract the eye and confuse you.

Demolition has started on the old vicarage/Masonic lodge, there's uproar in Facebook land.

Everyone is saying it shouldn't be knocked down and 'someone else' should pay to renovate it, I'm not sure who this 'someone else' is. The place is riddled with damp and rot, I don't think there's much else they could have done.

Stair rod rain and high wind. That's going to be today's story!
A bit later... A tiny noise alerted me to the fact that I had water leaking in above my kitchen window. First time in almost 30 years! The wind is driving the heavy rain on to the back wall of the house and water is running down the exterior of the wall in sheets. There must be a crack in the pointing of the window head. (Cracks Tiz! Spooky!) Not serious and when we have better weather I'll get my men in to re-point the joint above the lintel. Demonstrates how exceptional this rain is.

Here’s something you don’t want to find after heavy rains. Found by a customer in a Brisbane supermarket after a night of heavy rain.
She opted for a basket instead.
