Nice to see some common sense and supportive thoughts poking through.
Funny how a band of dedicated members who work hard to support the site are seen as a 'clique'. Still I suppose that's better than Mafia and we have been called that in the past. Onward and upwards! Here's to the next eight years!

Mainly in the shed this morning. I've managed to warm it up to 10C without condensation. Yippee!

A lovely morning relaxing after a sad week. I have spent the morning playing with water miscible oil paints. I am not sure if I like them or not. Tonight I am at Shaw Theatre for a folk concert

Sue, if you need any more help just ask - I've had LOTS of help from others since the new site started and I'm getting to grips with it at last. I was flailing about at first but other members have saved me from sinking altogether!

Thanks Tiz

I think I have just been all over the place for the last two weeks

What I need to have a go at now is posting an image. I'll have to find one to post!

Sue, you will find posting pictures is a lot easier than on the old site. Now you have found Active Topics try using Unread Topics as a frequent visit place. It clears the posts from the list that you have read when you exit and only shows the new unread ones each time you visit, very useful.

Enjoy your concert tonight, a report in the Musical Ramblings thread perhaps?

Ian, Before Sue gets too deeply into trying to post an image perhaps you can clarify again the differences between posting in the Gallery as opposed to as an attachment. I know how to put a picture in a post as an attachment, and how to put one in the Gallery. I can also put the Gallery picture in a post but it ends up displaying at full size. I haven't worked out how to get it to do what the attachment picture does - allow clicking to make a smaller picture open a bigger one. (I hope all this makes sense!)

So as not to take the thread too far off topic, I will start a new one somewhere for image related stuff this evening. The FAQ is a bit thin on the subject so we really need some point of reference for tips and tricks with images on the site. I am no expert by any means but it should be useful.

Good move Ian. The only thing I would say about gallery versus links/attachments is that the gallery route is so easy once you've cracked it and far better for the site as Gallery can be searched.

Continuing to coddle myself. Reading and keeping warm with regular short walks. Leg is a lot better now but I'm not pushing it and shed is still too cold to work in.

Moh, I assume you mean the surname Broadway but are you aware there is a village called Broadway in Somerset, near Ilminster and Chard?
