Yes - well done - but they are said to be Britain's oldest living twins, and are 104 years old.
Must be something in the water in Stockport. . .

What is it?

It seems to have a mistake in the series of consecutive numerals - there are two 60s where you'd expect a 50 and a 60!

Think there's a bit of damage on the 50 making it look like 60

I think the first 60 is actually a 50 and it's half way round the dial so I reckon the dial goes to 100. I think it may be am accessory to Johnny Pickle's laithe that Stanley has in the front room. Can't remember what it is called.

Ahh, Ian is right, it's an elliptical chuck for turning wood, hence the screw thread in the centre. Johnny didn't make this, I think it originally came from another make of Ornamental Turning Lathe....
And yes, very old and hand made and that explains why the 50 and 60 are easily confused.

I can see steps in the bottom right hand corner, is it some kind of ancient fortification?
