Exactly right Wendy.
What is it? Where is it? And what's the connection with Barlick?

I know what the cottages are called and the name of the road they're on, no idea on the Barlick connection unless it's to do with stone...
Were any of the Barlick mills built with stone from a nearby quarry?

That's right Kev. My problem is that what I thought was the connection with Barlick is a mistaken memory. I started to document it and realised I was in error. Sorry.....

Windy Harbour at the junction of Gillians Lane and Manchester Road?

Wendy has got it right! Well done.
The reason I put that up for a mystery object was that it's the explanation for why I said there was a link between the Bay of Biscay and Barlick. It was because I had confused Bay of Biscay with Windy Harbour.
I had noticed that Windy Harbour was not an uncommon name for a location or set of buildings.
More research and I found that it was a name used by anywhere that was an overnight stop for drovers or packhorse men. (That was what got me digging for the Packhorse Papers yesterday.)
Right, I've got that out of my system. Next object?

Well remembered again Tom! It's very early fuse wire and was actually just pure lead wire.
Give us another object!
