Mine as well Sue.... Frosty morning today but dry and calm. Glass is Steady round 29.6". Another good day? It will be light early again this morning, lovely!
Later, at 07:15, nice walk, sharp frost but dry and calm under a clear sky. More sun today!

28C today, went for a nice walk, it's lovely out there. (Couldn't go yesterday because it it was 39C, a real sizzler)
I picked a lovely bunch of Plumbago on my walk and have them in my lounge-room. :giverose:

Cath, 29C is about 29C over what we have this morning but it's dry and calm. Another good day in prospect as glass is steady just below 29.6" but forecasters say that the east coast will have some snow today. Could be a bit of a change on the way as cold air from the east pushes the mild air back out into the Atlantic.
Later after our walk. Lovely frosty morning and light so early! This and better will do for me and Jack. Just over 4 weeks to the clocks changing.....

Another lovely day, last of the week apparently.

Plumbago is also an old name for graphite, also called black lead, used as a lubricant and protection for ornamental cast irion like stoves, grates etc.
Lovely day yesterday but as the day wore on the wind shifted to the East and got much colder. This morning there's a light spattering of cold rain on the flags. Glass has risen slightly to just over 29.6". There could be snow ion the East coast today and it is expected to move across the country but it's a dry quarter usually and I don't suppose there will be much. This is a colder spell coming in and remember that March can come in like a lion!

Brighter now than it was this morning, but bitterly cold.

Yesterday and today i noticed a light haze in our skies, turned out it was smoke from Victorian bushfires. Many areas are still battling bushfires.
It's getting hotter 32C today and 36C tomorrow (guess who has to go out tomorrow... )

A PLUMBAGO PLANT is a perennial, it grows in sunny spots, has baby blue flowers, it spills over fences, can be a bush, a climber, espaliered or grown into a hedge. The cuttings i picked have turned into a light lilac colour inside. For the gardeners here, just google Plumbago Plant pictures, to see lots of examples, very very pretty.

It was cold and overcast yesterday but we had no rain or snow. Cold this morning in the easterly breeze but no frost. Glass has risen slightly to 29.7" and looks steady. So little change today?
A bit later the forecaster explained something that was bugging me, it felt like a frost but no rime on car tops. Evidently the humidity is so low that it isn't forming frost on cars. So, it's a frost!
07:45. We've had our walk and the forecaster was right! Bitter cold and my ears are just warming up again. Mind you, that's not a complaint, far better than wind and rain or snow!

Lovely sunshine this morning but it has given way to grey clouds, still bitterly cold. (Send some of that heat over Cathy!).

Dry and cold again this morning with light east wind. Glass steady on 29.7". Looks like a rerun of yesterday. Cloud seems to be building up a bit, snow in the offing?

Wendy is dead right! We are back from our trip to the butcher's and though dry, it's bitter out there in the wind. Certainly cold enough for snow but it's very dry air that's coming in and the chances of snow are very small.

Well there could be a dusting of snow by tomorrow morning but nothing significant. Very cold breeze from the east will continue over the weekend. Slightly milder early next week.

Cold again this morning with an occasional flake of snow. Glass steady on 29.7". No change in sight, keep thick vest on!

Less wind this morning but a hard frost and a light scattering of snow. Glass up slightly at 29.8". Another cold day......

Same story this morning but perhaps a tad warmer. Glass is up slightly at 29.9" and they tell us no change for the next three days. Full moon last night and we often get a weather change with that....

Quite a raw feeling this morning in the cold east wind. Glass is high on 30.

Our barometers agree Moh. Up again during the night to just over 30". Settled weather and we saw the sun a couple of times yesterday. No change in sight..... Better than wind and rain!
