Today I have returned from a 5 day trip to Holland where we visited the Keukenhoff gardens, Delft, Arnhem and The Hague. It was very cool with a biting wind, but not the rain that was forecast. I am warmer now I am back home !!

Definitely stuff to go Eileen, although I have found some lovely photos of my Mum which I shall be keeping. Other stuff destined for the Hospice shop is a full set of flower arranging stuff that has been in the loft since 1998. Do I really need it, I think not!

I have both Moh. I shall use the trunk for the Maylard stuff as it is a Maylard trunk. I shall use the boxes more for immediate family documents and photos, including Bobs family. The plastic boxes aren't that big but I have my Grandmas and my Great Aunts diaries and account bbooks, plus letters going back to the 1920s up to their death in the 1980s. One diary records that my Dad had detention at school for not doing his homework.

Sue more stuff, a father with detention and to think we were lead to believe our parents were perfect. As Moh says great for genealogy purposes. Having done the grass seeding I am today hoping to watch the grass grow. Eileen

Par for the course Sue, they are never sold until the money is in the bank. At least you have the consolation that the sale isn't essential to a chain. Summer is coming, best time to sell. Best of luck with it.
Not sure what the agenda is for today, I have an article to write for BET and am toying with the idea of posting the Stanley's View articles that are buried in the archive. I shall see how the spirit moves me....

Dads garden is beginning to look lovely, a major asset to the house, so perhaps it will do the business. Dad wanted the gardener kept on till the house was sold.

Writing another article for the BET. I am in one of my productive modes and it's nice to build up a stockpile. No day is wasted when a thousand words have been written!

Relaxing after a successful audit. I seem to have made a name for myself as a taskmaster; there is some personality retrieval to be done. However, job done for a year, we just need to improve on what we have done so far.

Today I shall be mainly wrapping myself up in a quilt and feeling sorry for myself with what I hope is a cold. Last night I laid on the couch in a coat and with a quilt and dog on top of me for warmth. I feel a little better at the moment. Ugghhhhh.

 ...worrying whether or not the sun is going to burn the lettuce, tomatoes, dwarf beans, and courgettes that we transplanted
yesterday. And hoping that we might get a spot of rain later in the day to save watering.
