I don't seem to experience anything like that Maz. As I say, my type 2 seems to be marginal.
Egg and bacon for dinner, very small helping. I boiled and mashed carrots and parsnips (Used cream..... Lovely!) Tea was a steak pudding, mixed frozen veggie for crunch and the mashed veggies.

Chicken Tikka Curry tonight. Might even have a couple of Chips with it...we have worked hard physically today as well as our walk and a bike ride this morning too. Had to relocate the fridge this morning and empty a couple of cupboards, as the cabinet maker comes tomorrow to fit the dishwasher. (So we are in a mess again...but that is nothing new!)

Once this dishwasher is installed ( and plumbing completed) our kitchen is finally remodelled. Yes, cabinet makers are expensive, but they do such a good job, and it is worth the investment. The job ours did to cut existing bench tops and cupboards down to house a new( wider) stove/oven/range hood/glass splash backs was flawless...the worth of it is looking at your kitchen every morning while the kettle boils and thinking “wow...I am really pleased with this”.
Quality workmanship.

Dishwasher in. Cabinet makers are finished. Just waiting for the plumber...past experience with the plumber tells me he will likely come very late afternoon/tea time. I have had to clear out the lower two shelves of the walk-in pantry as he needs to get to the pipes in the exterior pantry wall. The plumbing also runs behind the fridge, hence the fridge is in the Dining Room at present and the table is full of pantry contents. It has been a good opportunity for a clean out!
Tea tonight may be late, so I have prepared some Minced Beef Patties to throw in the frypan once he has finished. I’m just about to make a Salad, that can sit in the fridge ready to serve. I’m sure I can locate some Tomato Sauce or HP too, so we won’t starve. Hopefully tomorrow I can get things back in order. I hate being in a mess! ( I lost my reading glasses amid the pantry items this morning. I looked at the table and thought to myself “they are in that lot somewhere!”. I’ve been checking use-by dates on everything and tossing quite a bit of stuff. I do love a good clear out.)

I'm glad it suits you Maz, it's my idea of hell! I work on the principle I am going to die soon as what's the point? It will all get remodelled after the event. So I live quite happily in a state of gentle decay.... Only essentials like new ovens get done and they are standard sizes. In and Out.
Had bacon and eggs for breakfast and Sausage and veggies for tea....

Drat and Double Drat. The plumber can’t get here until next Tuesday, as he is “on Kangaroo Island, helping family out after the bushfires”.
( now...they would be folk living in a bigger mess than I am at present...so I forgive him)

That's a very good excuse!
I had bacon and egg for breakfast and a small helping of sausage and veggies for tea augmented by some spicy chicken wings that were on offer at the Co-op because of sell-by date. I do like a good gnaw on bones!

Felt very wobbly about 3 hours after tea. Blood sugar low, so had to eat a muesli bar before bed.
Don’t know what is going on, but blood sugar has been low a few times lately.

Pie, Mash and Baked Beans for him.
Pie (won’t eat the pastry) with a small dob of Mash and a big pile of fresh mushrooms for me.
( Pies seemed an easy choice when I got them out of the freezer this morning as I was expecting the plumber to be scuttling around my kitchen today...but he didn’t turn up or phone. So I guess I will be looking for an easy meal choice again tomorrow just in case he shows up...) (groan)

I casseroled a couple of Mutton chops with onions, tomatoes and the usual condiments. Breakfast was a sausage with mashed veggies and peas. Tea was the same but with the meat off the two chops and the gravy from the casserole. Very tasty!

Dishwasher is in...finally! I have put the pantry contents back ( minus a good clear-out so only about a third made it back to the shelves).
Fridge still in Dining Room just now as hubby has been “too busy” on the computer to move it back yet.
I am seeking inspiration and motivation for tea...

Hard luck Maz.... Funny thing is I had no appetite at teatime either. Just had a few nibbles. The reason was an omelette I made for breakfast and incorporated a black pudding in it. It looked terrible! Quite put me off grub for the rest of the day. Shan't be doing that again. It seemed like a good idea at the time.....

Two fried eggs for breakfast, tea was the last of the sausage and mixed veggies. Nice empty fridge for butcher's day!
I do like a clear out once a week.

Cannelloni and Chips. The Cannelloni has a lot of Veg in the sauce, as I cleaned out my fridge too, ready for fresh Veg tomorrow.
