Egg and bacon for breakfast. I had some onions about me and fried a pan full to make onion gravy with pork sausages in it. The olive oil, chopped tomatoes and cider vinegar worked their usual magic and by teatime I had a useful addition to my mashed veggies. Very good, I wasn't wasting my time!

We had tea from McCullough's last night, Barlick Raj last Saturday. With not spending as much on lockdown we have decided to do takeaway once a week. Helps to support the local restaurants that are still in operation. I believe Orange Door are doing takeaways as is Mario's. Plenty of variation to choose from for a change of cuisine.

I heard today that our Jack and Jemma managed to find me some strong flour when they did their shopping so a bit of bread making is on the cards.

If you need any more , in the future, have a chat with Habib at the Barlick Raj, Ian. (FB message Barlick Raj) Chapati flour works well for bread making, he had loads of it last week.

The Raj have been providing a great service, their app makes ordering an easy process. They've been making some pretty large donations, to a local group, who are producing face screens with 3D printing. They definitely deserve the support they've been getting.

We're considering Mario's for tea on Friday. Got a wedding anniversary to celebrate so something different is a must.

Galettes, Breton style. If you can’t go to the crêperies, well you buy them from Super U supermarket and put your own fillings in. So easy, so quick, so tasty. Its turning into one of our favourite meals. Tonight was with saute potatoes, cheese, what the french pass for bacon ( rather tasty actually, sort of smoked streaky bacon ) fried egg, accompanied by mixed salad.
