Three eggs for breakfast, wings and veggies for tea. The tahini and peanut butter sauce is good but I shan't be going there again. I find of late that nut based food does strange things to my transit times! Funny how your system alters over time.

The last of the chicken wings and veggies gave me breakfast and tea. Some veggies are left over, they will feed me today. I see the need for a small top up shop at the Co-op this morning as soon as they open! Kath will deliver my meat this evening and I can settle back secure in the knowledge that the weekend and start of next week are catered for. (I wish this could be true for all the families in the country but we know that this is not the case.)

I grilled sausages and had a sausage and veggies for breakfast and tea. That sees off last week's cooking. Memo to self, don't cook so many veggies!

Lamb Kleftico and the last of a small hand baked loaf which was nice and crusty. I have nailed my Kleftico recipe now and have another batch of diced lamb in the freezer for a repeat at some time.

Got to the end of the Cornflakes the other day so have now switched to porridge for breakfast.

I can picture the scene. I had sausage and egg for breakfast and cod fillet and peas for tea. Admirably abstemious but then I had Hagen Daas Ice cream for a treat!

Dinner ( Soup) was absolutely beautiful. I chopped some Udon noodles at 3 mins to serve and chucked them in the Soup. Hubby has an empty bowl and is licking his lips.
Get a warm glow from stuff we may have thrown away at the end of the week. There was nothing wrong with the Veg at all, just that we like to restock on a Saturday.
Don’t waste food. The planet needs you to get creative.

Couldn't agree more Maz. It's a crime to waste food when kids are hungry. And that's from the bloke that cremated the sausages.

Evening meal choices are difficult at present. Normally, we would be in the Swing of Salads...( and heartily sick of those by March) but cooler nights still have hubby needing a rug on top of his doona - so it was Chippolatas tonight, with Mash, Veg and a thin light gravy. I feel slightly over-fed, but he cleared his plate and smacked his lips....
No heating required for weeks, but there is still a nip at night that deserves long sleeves.
