Maz mailed me yesterday to say that it was so bad she was considering abandoning the site. I haven't experienced it (or only occasionally) and hope she can be placated! I have mailed her back to encourage her!

I've been having trouble for 4 days now. Have to log in 20 -30 times. Luck of the draw to get on at all. So if we are AWOL, that's the problem! ( it is getting rather tedious!)

No problem as yet for me, could you try a different browser? I think that both Maz and Sue use iPads but not sure about Tripps.

Maz, I have looked at your account and there does not seem to be anything amiss. Nothing in the user and error logs either.

Do you get an error message? If so what does it say.

Or does the site just refuse to process your logon?

If you can get on, scroll to the bottom of the home page and click the "delete all board cookies" link you, could have one of those damaged. They will auto regenerate with new ones. These are the little bits of code stored on your computer that hold your logon and other bits of info for the site.

In your browser you could also seek out the cookie settings and delete those as well. If you do, any other sites that require a password will ask for it again.

As you are not online at the moment I cant see what platform (computer or tablet) you are using or your chosen browser.

Can you let me know both please.

Can't have you going walkabout.

No problems here, using Firefox Quantum Ubuntu version. Perhaps browsers are less reliable when used upside down! :extrawink:

No problem here using Windows10 and Firefox.

When I do have a problem it is usually caused by lack of bandwidth between China and UK. It was awful a few years ago when a ship dragged its anchor and broke 3 underwater internet cables.

Switched to Google Chrome. First time I tried to log in it was unsuccessful, but second time worked. See how we go. I deleted cookies too.
It didn't matter if I was logging on at top right hand corner of page or logging in through "reply to topic". It just kept reloading log in and had wiped my entry of name and password.
See how we go anyway.

As Ian said Maz, we can't lose the all seeing eye! I hope you find a cure.
Today is all planned out for the run in to being ready to lift off at 06:00 tomorrow..... I got late word that a friend was visiting today and have put them off. I think I am allowed to be selfish occasionally.

Meeting up with a friend at the layby on Pinhaw then a brisk walk up to the trig point and round the moor above Lothersdale. Back to the road by the far cattle grid and down into Elslack woods.
Yesterday evening I sat keeping the new kitten company in her cosy retreat (my workroom), dug out a small rag rug that I left unfinished a few years back to keep me busy and listened to F1 live on the radio. Loved It! It reminded me of a journey up to Ardnamurchan listening to the car radio as Damon Hill battled it out with Michael Schumacher.

No, not braided Maz but it's not a proddy or pegged rug either. I have a rugging tool like a thin pair of pliers which pulls the fabric strips through the hessian. I started small with a seat pad rather than a rug and made the mistake of cramming the strips in too closely and got bored! I was throwing out a load few of Colin's ancient shirts and as they were all shades of blue I got inspired.

Looks cosy. Don't see many patterned carpets with boarders round them now-a-days.

I love anything blue. Having trouble seeing a cat..yet! But it is a work in progress, so I am sure it will be a cat one day!
I've had a "get to know you" session with my new sewing machine. I almost went down on my knees and wept when I first tried the automatic needle threader. ( what a wonderful invention!) there is nothing wrong with my eye-sight but why not embrace technology? Just stitching on bits of scrap fabric today, getting nowhere really, but I just want to try every button and switch until I feel familiar with it. Watched part of the DVD...need to finish that tomorrow...but had to turn it off to try the automatic needle threader! Woohoooo!

Nice, cosy room, Big Kev

Amazing what turns people on.....
I have spent the morning reading all the literature the hospital gave me which goes into great detail about what can go wrong..... Deep Joy!. I have packed my bag ready for tomorrow apart from razor and toothbrush which I'll need tomorrow morning. I shall be taking it very easy for the rest of the day! (did a BP reading for them and it's up, I put it down to stress!)
