Well, I do get to test drive the new cooker tonight.
I'm probably going to make Sticky Chinese Chicken and Egg Fried Rice.

I ate very little, not well at all. Just a few veggies and a sausage.

Same as yesterday, not eating much at all or indeed very interested in food. Not worried about this as losing some weight sensibly will not do me any harm at all!
I realised while I was shopping I had told a lie4, I got a sea bass fillet from the fish van and had that with veggies for tea. Would you believe £3.50 for one small fillet?

Small helpings of veggies and some onion and tomatoes I cooked because they had reached their sell by date!
I did veggie shopping yesterday and have a chicken to cook and then nibble at.

Eggs Benedict for breakfast, fortunately we're doing a lot of walking or my clothes would be getting a bit tight now we're on week two :biggrin2:

Chicken and low carb veggies, small portions, for breakfast and tea. I am being a good lad after the scare on Wednesday. I was getting careless with carbs and have radically altered that. The difference in less than a week with light diet and new medication is amazing! There might be hope for me yet for a while!

Still on chicken and greens. I have a ham shank cooking, that will be low carb!
Later, I realised I had forgotten that I cooked egg, bacon, tomatoes, baked beans and some veggies for tea.
The ham shank is cooking well and will be done when I get up from second sleep....

I had egg, bacon and tomatoes for breakfast and chicken and veggies for tea.
The nice thing is that even though I only changed my diet a week ago I can see definite improvements and loss of weight.... Onward and upward! (In the past I have started on this path but always fallen off the wagon. Not this time!)

Lean meat from the ham shank I cooked with sprouts and broccoli. I went veggie shopping and have cooked cabbage, sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. All sitting in the fridge.
I'm feeling the effects of this concentration on low carb and small portions. God knows why I allowed myself to slip. It won't happen again.

A small helping of ham and veggies for breakfast. I had sea bass and veggies for tea.
I'm seeing positive results from the revised diet and I am losing weight slowly as well which is good. (Amazing how you can slip into bad habits....)

I follow your route Mick, If I am going to use garlic I don't mess about! Yesterday I had q small helping of Chicken and veggies for breakfast, was peckish at lunchtime so I had bacon, black pudding and an egg, then chicken and veggies for tea. All low carb and I am continuing to benefit from the change in diet. I am losing weight but very slowly.

Hot wings and veggies again. I am feeling more and more benefit from addressing my diet and particularly the smaller helpings..... Very slow weight loss and lots of unexplained pains are fading. I shall not be backsliding!
