Well I have spent the day sewing. I have done my first quilted picture based on a book I got for my birthday. The flower at the front is an appliqué copy of the anenome I did in watercolour. I really enjoyed doing this. I may make it into a cushion cover

It's supposed to be an abstract garden

I have a friend, Georgie, who has just had an exhibition of stitched drawings at the Wellcome Institute. Have a look at this LINK.

They are great Stanley. I shall aspire to doing something like that. I only used scraps of material that I had to try out the technique but I see another cushion cover being made!
I now know some of he pitfalls. I need a few more trial runs before I splash out on buying material specially.

Hi,

I am from Australia and I must say this is one the best quilted cushion cover sewing you have made and it is better then we purchase from stores or shop from websites. As sewing done perfect and designs was perfectly made the flowers were stitched on cushion. I will advice to make other quilted bedding items for your home rather then getting from stores.
