He said "an initial root cause analysis" had indicated that the "main issue was an expired certificate in the software versions installed with these customers".
Someone is in for a serious leg slapping, there should be processes in place to warn of approaching expiry dates...

I have a 'reserve' email account with a mob called (I just liked the name) - and I've not been able to access it since yesterday, for the same reason. I think some browsers let you over ride this if you wish. Makes you think that if they can't get right something as simple as that, why should I trust them with my information.

More legs need slapping.

One of your last posts just popped up in my newsfeed, I presume someone must have "liked" a comment as there aren't any new comments.

Sue, I always worry about those quiz things that you do on Facebook, I am very suspicious of anything like that.

Cathy at the butcher's was one of the businesses affected, her card dreader (typo but too good to correct!) was off line all day yesterday but it was OK at 06:00 on Friday morning.

I don’t do any that say anything about me. By the way I have opened a new account and sent you a friends request . When I have found all my old friends I will close the old page. This is definitely a facebook problem ,or so they say.

You and Yours are reporting problems with Plusnet's billing systems, they are double charging some customers repeatedly.

Fairly common practice and will be in the T&C's. Taking room up on the servers so redundant accounts have to go.

I lost my Orange number and pay-as-you-go account a couple of months ago but at least whoever runs the account nowadays had the decency to send me a cheque for the full amount I was in credit. I last used it in 2012.
