I have this street labelled as Park Road, but I am pretty sure that is not correct. Any thoughts on which street it is?

The dormers on the houses on the left are very similar to those on Welhouse Rd opposite the fire station but the rest doesn't look right.

Almost certain it's Park Road before houses were built beyond Park Street and Park Avenue (which can be seen furthest from the camera). The junction of Beech Street in on the right.
Looks like a shop where the chippy is now.

Dormers and bay windows seem to come and go...

It is Park Road, I can remember when I first had the image above I was puzzled and had to check. It could be that this is the same photographer but a bit further back, you can see the wall of the present surgery before it was altered.
Here's the same view in October 2002.
One tip that doesn't apply to this image is that when you have an old image which is bugging you because even though it looks familiar it is wrong try reversing the image. I had one that eluded me for years until I had a brainwave.
Here it is. It drove me potty!
This was as close as I could get to replicating it in 2003.

On the Park Road photos, was there a reason in removing all the Dormers ? Were grants paid out for re-roofing. Back to Backs in Leeds had grants, but they sometimes gained dormers to bring bathrooms and WCs indoors.
