Yesterday afternoon stayed dry and bright. At 20:00 it was calm and clear. This morning first thing it was the same but now we have broken overcast and probably a frost but I can't see yet. The glass is on 1006mb and rising. The forecast is for a dry day with bright overcast and sunny spells. The constant NE wind is moderate and gives us a high of 7C and a low tonight of 0C with a wind chill of -5C. The outlook remains similar to today and heavy rain on Thursday.

Yesterday afternoon was mainly dry but we had a light spatter of rain at about 15:30. At 20:00 it was dry and clear. This morning it's calm clear and frosty with a waning gibbous moon. ( :biggrin2: ) The glass has risen and is on 1018mb. The forecast is for rain to start around 08:00 and persist until this evening. The constant SW wind will be moderate and gives us a high of 7C and a low of 3C tonight. We will have as much as a -5C wind chill during the day and so for much of the time it will feel as if it's below freezing. The outlook has reduced the rain expected later this week it will be cold but less rain than today.

We got rain yesterday late in the afternoon. By 20:00 it had stopped and we had calm, dry overcast. During the night the sky cleared and this morning we have it calm and dry with a thin haze over an otherwise clear sky. The glass has fallen slightly and is on 1015mb and tending to fall. The forecast tells us that light rain will come in by late morning and persist for the rest of the day getting heavier this evening. The constant SW wind is moderate and gives us a high of 8C and a low of 5C tonight with a wind chill that could get to as much as -4C this afternoon. The outlook is for the weather to cool down a bit and on Friday there is a forecast that the showers could be wintry.....

Yesterday the rain forecast for the morning arrived late in the afternoon and at 20:00 we had steady light rain. That was what we had first thing this morning but since then the rain has stopped. The glass is down on 998mb and still falling. The forecast is for a cloudy but mainly dry day. The constant WSW wind is moderate and gives us a high of 6C and a low of -1C tonight with up to a -4C wind chill during the day. The outlook is for colder weather but on the whole dry.

I had my walk and a sit on traffic duty. Not what I would call pleasant but certainly supportable if you were wrapped up warm. I eased the pain with a hot mini pizza from Mandy at Barlick bites!

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry and at 20:00 it was cold and clear. This morning was the same first thing and hasn't changed since. The glass is down again on 989mb and falling. The forecast is for it to become cloudy and by 10:00 we will have rain and snow mixed for the rest of the day. The easterly winds are moderate and gust to 30mph giving us a high of 3C and a low of -1C tonight with a wind chill of as much as -6C when the wind is strongest. The result is that it is going to feel below freezing all day so wrap up warm if you are out in it! The outlook is for it to get warmer and drier, today seems to be a one-off.

It was dry here Gloria and I changed my mind about going out, I went to the Co-pop for the small essentials I need if I am to roast my chicken tomorrow.....
As I say, we are still dry but that wind is terribly cold. I believe the forecast of occasional -6C wind chill!
10:15. The first spatter of rain has reached us in Barlick and the overcast is thickening.

I agree Gloria, I didn't go out again but cowered inside in the warm!
Yesterday we never got snow but the afternoon was wet and cold. At 20:00 it had stopped raining and during the night it was clear and cold. This morning first thing it was calm, dry and clear and so far it hasn't changed. The glass on 985mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for a foggy start and then rain from midday onwards for the rest of the day. The constant ENE wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 5C and a low tonight of 1C with a -4C wind chill for most of the day. The outlook is for milder weather and perhaps drier as well.

Changing my mind and not roasting my chicken was a good move. I have done my Town Square veggie trip and am back in the warm with all my veggies ready for a cooking day tomorrow. It was cold and damp out there but not actually raining. I am happy!

Yesterday was cold, gloomy and damp. Not actually raining at 20:00 and during the night the sky was clear. This morning I think we have broken overcast, it's dry but there are signs of a recent shower. The glass has risen and is on 991mb. The forecast is for a bright dry day with sunny spells. The constant SW wind will be light and allows us a high of 6C and a low of 0C tonight with at most, a -3C wind chill. The outlook is for milder dry weather. Could this be the start of Spring?
