Post by Lynnshepherd7 » 16 May 2019, 15:48

Hi everyone, thanks for letting me join. I was born in barlic, my family name is edmondson.
My gran used to have a local corner shop in the 50s 60s it was near turner street,( think it became a launderette later) I used to live on calf hall road, and my friend Susan cloughlived on the end house on walls gate. Does anyone know her.? I’m visiting regularly as we have bought a holiday home at Rimington, so fairly close by.

Morning Lynn, welcome to the site. You might have known my daughters, Margaret and Susan Graham. The name Susan Clough rings a bell, I'll ask them....

I asked M & S Lynn and they don't remember the name. Is Shepherd your maiden name or married?
Which school did you go to?

Hi Lynn,
You'll find them a friendly and very helpful lot on here, don't be worried about asking a question, someone will come up with the answer.
