It's been a campsite since 1927. Chris's Grandparents first diversified by offering facilities to The Scottish Scouting Association and it took off from there. Gradually expanded over the years with the greatest expansion under the lads tenure over the last 20 years or so. Unrecognisable from when I first camped there. They still maintain a working farm as well. Maudsley's have farmed in the Ribble Valley for over 600 years. You might say they are an established family.
