Test for videos posted on Facebook

Post by PanBiker » 27 Jun 2020, 10:51

Right so here is a test. I have copied this video shared to my own FB timeline and I need to know who can see it and run it. Please post with a yes or no and whether you have an account on Facebook.

Like the A team, this post will self destruct in seven days, answers please.

Interesting, those with and without FB accounts can see the video. Mind you, originating from an animal support site I would assume the access rights would be set to public. Don't know why it should stop for you Gloria unless you have memory issues on the Mac which I think you are using.

Sorry, Ian, we can't get Facebook/Youtube etc (Hooray!) in China so I can't see it!
I have a self-suspended FB account because I can't access it unless I use devious means.

It runs OK for me. I have a basic (largely anonymous I hope ) FB account but I'm logged out most of the time. Still allowed me to copy the link and see it.

I may be missing something here. Can we not contact the person who first put it up - I assume it was Susan - and ask her to send it to Ian or Kev. Seems simplest to me.

I meant bypass Facebook, and ask Susan directly. Her contact details are publicly available on her Counselling website, or ask her dad to phone her. He started it all. Keep it simple. . .

Wendy, you can do as many of those short videos as you like, loved them. 💕
My iPhone is an Apple, I’m have an FB account but never post.
I know I'm in my own little world, but it's OK... they know me here. :)

I still don’t understand why it works on apple iPhone and not on New apple iPad.
I thought I’d just try the old Apple iPad, they all work on that. Doesn’t make sense.

I had the impression that it wasn't possible to 'embed' a video into a thread - you had to just put a link to a remote site such as Youtube? Now we see that Wendyf has achieved it, and they're great .

How?

Wendy...I love your beautiful BOYS...and the cat. So lovely to spend a few moments in your world. You should do more. I would love to see your poly-tunnel. ( but “the boys” are so very special...gosh...so healthy for their age)
