I finally made it back

Post by MickBrett »

I had forgotten my original log in details so I've re registered.

First call was to the Forgotten Corners thread and what a treat it was too.

Mick Brett

Bradford born Earby rancher now in Oklahoma

Haha. Nothing much to report. Besides, I'm way too busy reading through the site at the moment.

Having spent my entire working life in machine shops, I'm really enjoying your shed work.
I retired August 2020 after 51 years in the trade. Nice to see some good "britches arse" hands on machining! :biggrin2:

Mick. Look back to the first series for the heavier work in the shed when I was making the compounds. Today I am only piddling about and can hardly see....

A lot of the images in those earlier posts don't seem to be working for me. It simply says "image"

Yes, an update to the gallery changed the syntax for the URL of the image. So earlier posts with images with the old syntax no longer work. They can be updated though by editing the posts and manually updating the URL string to the new format.

Just put me straight. Is MickBrett part of the NE mafia that did all though fantastic wood carvings.? I easily get confused now-a-days.

No Ken, this MIck is an old classmate of mine when we were at Barlick Modern. He lives in the USA now in Oklahoma, (where the wind comes whistling cross the plain). :extrawink: Another engineer though.
