Supermarket today. I have a list and will be in and out like a military assault team. There will be flames coming from the back of my shoes and a distinct dust trail. Febby will be pushing that trolley quick time.
Then we will come home, bolt the door and pull the draw-bridge up...

Sat in the kitchen with a cuppa. I woke up about two hours ago shouting in pain with cramp in my leg, and could not get back to sleep afterwards. My leg is very tender. I shall have my cup of tea and go back to bed for an hour.

Managing my stiff neck. Took two aspirins this morning. Can't remember when I last took any. They seem to be working....

Thanks for asking Cathy. Hot water yes but neck rolls out of the question! It's a bit like my back storms but at the back of my neck and largely caused by muscle spasm I think. I'm working on it....
Today I shall do little beyond looking after Jack, getting my exercise and keeping warm and dry. We are in a spell of very cold nasty weather at the moment. No shopping needed, not even last minute thoughts!

Cathy, I just remembered the bean bag that daughter Margaret gave me a long time ago. You put it in the microwave and then drop it on the back of your neck....Very comforting!

Been very busy lately but today I'm off to Ashton u Lyne for me to to do my last visit before Christmas. Special for me as I'm Santa for a group of brilliant youngsters all of whom have serious health conditions. I hope one little girl in particular is there not in hospital. Santa will show her some great You Tube video's of punk bands which we found out she loves when I showed her the Toy Dolls a few months ago.
Word has got out about the acting and on the way back I'm Santa at a home in Bolton where the kids all have severe behaviour issues - their reactions might be interesting but I shall be wearing arm guards in case one in particular tries to chew a lump out of me. Nolic

Final bits of preparation (mostly vacuuming up Bertie hairs) ready for family arriving later on, I don't think my brother & sister in law will have a difficult journey over from Beverley but my niece is travelling from London by train this afternoon which could be tricky.

I sometimes use one for sciatica and lower back pain. I find the best way to start my day (and my lower back) is a hot and pounding shower directed at my lower back, works wonders... it means I can bend.

I enjoy starting my day with a hot bath...mainly because I like the thinking time all alone in there. I bounce out of there with the day all worked out and ready to cope with whatever gets thrown at me.
A big improvement, as I used to start the day with a wander around the garden with a coffee and a fag.

Enjoying the fact that the storm in my neck seems to be subsiding. Not out of the wood yet but I shall not take any pain killers today, it can look after itself!

I have plenty of time to do anything I want! All the kids are together today at Janet's house in Perth and no doubt having a whale of a time.

Image

Here's the Xmas present my grand daughter Yiota made for me. Even has an ear ring and the glasses are detachable but will stay on. Note the waistcoat and rainbow braces!
No cooking needed, I made a veggie stew yesterday so today I shall be mainly doing bugger all!
Oh, and neck continues to improve, have taken one aspirin Maz and I've got a towelling cravat wrapped round my neck to keep it warm. Don't want to get dependent on the bean bag because it restricts movement which, while painful, is essential.
