I had Chicken, sausage, Pork Belly and veggies X three for breakfast, dinner and tea. The pork belly was superb, I can see me cooking more of it and putting weight on!. I have two helpings left for today and will be roasting my chicken and cooking veggies.
Question, how does one man get through £28 worth of fruit and veggies in a week with no waste? I am so glad I am not feeding a family!

Planning a Kleftico for my tea, I have all the makings apart from some Feta cheese, will get some after a bit of lunch. Not baked any bread for a while so I also have a batch of dough on it's first prove, that should be ready to knock back this afternoon. The Kleftico will go in the bottom of the oven to argue with itself and the bread in the middle. Might as well kill two birds with one stone.

Toad in the hole accompanied by Savoy cabbage cooked with smoked lardons and extra dry vermouth. A splash of Bisto gravy finished it off.

I had two pots of last week's vintage cooked veggies and meat left. I had one for breakfast and it was so filling that I never got hungry at dinnertime... too busy cooking so tea was the second of the last batch. I shall be starting on the fresh batch today!

The belly pork has not disappointed! Tastes as good as it looks. All cut up and in the fridge. All tins etc. scrubbed and put away. :biggrin2:

I had pork and veggies X three and at the same time I slow cooked half a shoulder of lamb in apple juice with onions, garlic, peas and spices. That will augment the rest of this week's cuisine.

Nearing the end of last week's cooking. I had meat and veggies X three and one helping left over for breakfast this morning. Today is going to be a busy cooking day.

Now that's just a bit spooky. I opened the first bottle of wine I've had since September 2022, last night. I fell for the Naked Wines voucher in Private Eye. I think my taste (post Covid) is coming back.

Dipped into the case at random and - It was a South African Shiraz. Very nice.

PS and there's the new TV on the snooker. I can read the scores now- so the picture must be sharper.

Lovely! I'm so pleased for you David. You don't realise how bad the definition is until you see the better version. I had exactly that experience with mine.....
Despite the fact I was cooking yesterday the only new build I had was what I sneaked out while cooking. Breakfast and tea were the very last two helpings from last week. Dinner was what I snacked on while cooking. I shall start on the new crop today!
PS. Those fajitas look good Kev. I often fancy them but can't allow myself the wrapping carbs!
