I have fried my sweet potato chips and, after a walk to the Co-op for some enhancements, have cooked my savoury mince. It is just finishing off now simmering very slowly on the hob. I do love my own cooking!

I enhanced dinner and tea chicken and veggies with the gravy from the savoury mince. It is lovely largely due to the apple cider vinegar I used in it.

Off out to The Four Elephants, in Foulridge, for tea tonight. There's a George Michael tribute act on too so should be a good do.

I had chicken and veggies X two for breakfast and tea but for dinner had two fried egg butties on white teacake. In theory they are verboten but an occasional buttie every four or five days seems OK. I always sleep right through in the night after the buttie. Not sure what to make of that.

Mario's in Barlick for a bit o' tea today washed down with a bottle of red. A ride out on the bus made a change from driving.

I was on the very last of last week's batch. I extended it so well I still have some left to keep me going today whilst I finish cooking the veggies I bought yesterday.
So, highly spiced Meat and veggies X three.

Chicken and veggies X three. Lovely fresh taste as I have used a slightly different mix of veggies, more brassicas. (Did you know that all Brassicas descend from the wild mustard plant?)
With a bit of luck today I shall manage to get some malt vinegar! Gulam promised to make sure he had some.

I got my vinegar but am disappointed because it is in a shaker bottle. What I really want is a plastic bottle of bulk vinegar. I may have to go online for it.
I had chicken and veggies X three for breakfast dinner and tea and really enjoyed it.

Can't you just pop the shaker top out? They are just a plastic bung if it's like ours.

Prawn Cocktail (very retro), Short Rib of Beef with Bone Marrow Bread, Cabbage and Purple Carrots, Cheese and Fruit Cake for pudding in The Blue Room at Thoresby Hall. Just finishing off with coffee anda cognac in Manvers Bar. I could easily get used to this :good:

The mince is indeed savoury. I put a bit on my tea and it is lovely.
Yes that's right, chicken and veggies X three for breakfast dinner and tea. It's a lovely easy way to ensure I get three hot meals a day at regular intervals. I have this eccentric idea that this is good for me!

Chicken, the mince and veggies X three. That bit of effort with the mince is well worth the effort.
