RAWSTHORN INDEX AS OF 27/05/11

John Rawsthorn
Elector of Coates 1835, 1837, 1841. Elector of Salterforth, address given as Widdop, 1837, same entry for 1841 at Higher House, Widdop.
In 'A Way of Life Gone By' p. 109. Harry Wilkinson describes Kelbrook in about 1900. He says that John Rawsthorne was the blacksmith and died in 1910.
In the 1851 census Thomas Rawsthorn is noted at Greystone House, aged 51, farmer of 80 acres with 3 labourers.
