Introduction

Post by hartley353 »

Hi all. Just joined this site, I am an old barlicker, used to live on East Parade,my early schooling was at Gisburn Rd infants and juniors and the first year of the secondary modern, before I moved on to live in Nelson, and then Manchester where I now dwell.
In the past I have visited this site and enjoyed what I found, now due to redundancy and time on my hands I have returned and hope to share in the Craic.
Kind Regards Mike.

Hi there,
I wonder If you could help me out in ine way or the other.

I am Tom From Holland, and I am searching for a lady called Sharon laycock from Barnoldswick.

we met in 1986 in Spain (Callella,Malgrat) she was there with her mum ,dad, and little brother.

I believe she even worked at the tourist information back in the day
we were penpalls for a few years and then i lost track of her.

I was 13 or 14 and sharon was a bit older
I am so curious how she's doing today

Do you know Sharon? Do you Know someone who might know her?

Please help me out if You can,

Grtz, Tom Verkooijen , From Beverwijk Holland

hi members,

I am sorry to see the way people react to my call for Sharon.
I am a real person ,just interested what happened to mY friend.
and I feel Kind off sad now, isn't there anybody who might know her and can ask her If she even wants to be contacted by me?

I doný want to intrude or something, just wondering...
there are many ways to find out if I am for real .

well, I give up my search, and be left in Vain

is there a way someone could delete my account?

Thanx for trying,

Sorry no one can help you at the moment Tom. We haven't deleted your topic, so if someone does read it who knows Sharon they can contact you directly through the site. My advice would be to keep your membership open just in case.

Tom. Wendy is right. Don't feel too bad about the enquiry being locked. Your post was a borderline case but as you'll see from the rest of the site, our policies lead to clean streets!

Sorry Wendy just noted your response, Thank you for your welcome. The site seems smaller than I remembered then ,I noticed it had been reset up and the old stuff archived, You never forget your roots and I always enjoy returning to the town,
